Vegetative growth of walnut nursery plants as affected by foliar nutrition
Abstract
U eksperimentu je praćen uticaj folijarne prihrane na vegetativni porast sadnica oraha u rastilu. Istraživanja su sprovedena u Institutu za voćarstvo, Čačak, u periodu od 2003. do 2005. godine. Ispitivane su jedna sorta i četiri selekcije oraha: Šeinovo (kontrola), Ovčar, G-286, Elit i G-139. U ogledu su bile zastupljene dve varijante: varijanta I - bez primene folijarnog đubriva (kontrola) i varijanta II - sa primenom folijarnog đubriva. U varijanti sa primenom folijarne prihrane vegetativni porast sadnica bio je viši i iznosio je 16,9 cm na kraju prve i 207,8 cm na kraju druge vegetacione sezone, u poređenju sa porastom sadnica u kontrolnoj varijanti od 14,3 cm na kraju prve i 171,6 cm na kraju druge vegetacije. Najviši vegetativni porast na kraju prve sezone gajenja imala je selekcija G-286 (17,1 cm), a na kraju druge sorta Šeinovo (197,8 cm), dok je najmanji porast na kraju prve (14,8 cm) i druge (182,3 cm) vegetacije bio kod selekcije G-139.
The effect of foliar fertilization on vegetative growth of walnut nursery plants was observed in this experiment. The experiments were conducted at the Fruit Research Institute, Čačak, over 2003-2005. The study involved one cultivar (cv Seinovo - control) and four selections of walnut, including Ovcar, G-286, Elit and G-139. The trial included two variants: variant I - without foliar fertilization (control), and variant II - with foliar fertilization. Vegetative growth of walnut plants in the foliar feltilization variant was higher at the end of the first (16,9 cm) and second (207,8 cm) growing seasons as compared with the control variant (14,3 cm and 171,6 cm, respectively). The highest plant growth was observed in selection G-286 at the end of the first (17.1 cm) and cv Seinovo at the end of second (197.8 cm) growing seasons, and the lowest in selection G-139 (14.8 cm and 182.3 cm, respectively).
