Productive Traits of the Fall-Bearing Raspberry Cultivar 'Lyulin' in the Environmental Conditions of Cacak (Western Serbia)
Апстракт
Over the 2005-2006 period, an examination was done on the productive traits of the Bulgarian fall-bearing raspberry cultivar 'Lyulin' [('Newburgh' x 'Bulgarski rubin') x 'Zeva'] grown under the environmental conditions of Cacak (Western Serbia). The planting distance between and within the rows was 3.0 m and 0.5 m, respectively. In the fruit-bearing period, 8-10 canes were left per row metre. The results showed that on average the first harvesting started on 12 June and lasted till 25 July. The average fruit mass was 3.36 g and the soluble solids content was 7.5 degrees Brix. The second harvesting period started on 27 September and lasted till 26 October. The average fruit mass was 3.43 g and the soluble solids content was 6.0 degrees Brix. The average yield per hectare was 13,633 kg. In growing 'Lyulin' as a summer-bearing cultivar, the beginning of fruit ripeness was registered on 25 July and its end on 5 October. The average fruit mass was 3.34 g and the soluble solids content range...d from 6.0 degrees Brix in the second (colder) part of the growing season to 9.0 degrees Brix in the warmer (first) one. The average yield per hectare was 9,734 kg.
