Application of contemporary in vitro methods in Prunus L. genus
Abstract
In vitro kultura biljnog tkiva koja se do nedavno smatrala kao "posebna oblast", odnosno odvojena od drugih naučnih disciplina, danas omogućava korišćenje širokog spektra biotehnologija sa velikim brojem disciplina. U radu je upravo prikazana mogućnost primene in vitro tehnika kod šljive kroz sledeća poglavlja: mikropropagacija šljive in vitro; stvaranje bezvirusnog sadnog materijala šljive primenom hemoterapije; ponašanje in vitro razmnožene šljive u ex vitro uslovima (morfološke karakteristike i rodnost); kultura embriona šljive; dugo in vitro čuvanje šljive; androgeneza šljive; transgene šljive; ostale in vitro tehnike koje su primenjene, ili se mogu primeniti kod šljive.
The in vitro culture of plant tissue used to be, until recently, treated as an "isolated" area, separate from other scientific disciplines. However today this culture enables the use of a wide range of biotechnologies, with an even wider range of disciplines. The work presents the possibilities in applying the in vitro techniques in the plum, classified into the following chapters: in vitro micropropagation of the plum; obtaining of virus-free plum planting material through the use of chemotherapy; behaviour of in vitro - propagated plum in ex vitro conditions (morphological features and yield) the plum embryo culture; longterm in vitro storage of the plum; plum androgenesis; transgenic plums; other in vitro techniques that were or can be applied with the plum.
